Sorry, no stills and clips for these and Brother Francis was one of Barry's best characters I felt, bringing out his sensitive and emotional side. The Paulist Production office got in touch with me. I thought I should go by the book and request permission. The following explanation was given "Unfortunately your request to use stills and clips from Insight is denied due to legal reasons, nothing to do with the quality of your website". So, it doesn't always pay to be honest. At least I have them and they are one of the few television works available to buy commercially.

Since Barry Brown was eminently capable of playing such disparate characters as the genial young monk, Brother Francis, as well as the testy young businessman (the other "Insight" part he played), I'm surprised that they didn't use him in other episodes.)
Had he stayed around that environment, he probably would have done a lot better, since it had a religious - not Hollywood focus. Maybe someone there could have steered Barry away from his self-detructive course, and back into the world of the living.
It is the most agonising thing to realise that, although he apparently cared for others, there was no one, at the end, solicitious enough to save him from his final act of desperation.

As the INSIGHT series is only available on VHS format, from Paulist Productions (they have a website), it is only compatible with NTSC.
I have an adapted VCR recorder so I can at least watch them, but the quality is affected, but I was so impressed with this drama I've sent the VHS to England to be professionally converted onto dvd, using the same company who did GREAT NORTHFIELD MN RAID - the results were impressive, as you can tell by the reworking of the stills & clips.
As technlogy changes, it's all the more important to preserve Barry's work, as well as collecting what I am able to obtain. Of course, I don't plan to make financial gain out of this, just simply want to watch Barry's work and grateful I can, after so many years of Bad Company popping up occasionally on late-night TV.

If anyone who didn't read my message on the Yahoo website reads this, let me just say: if you haven't gotten a copy of "The Pendulum" - mortgage the farm, if necessary, to get it!
It is wonderful, and shows the most sensitive, emotional performance Barry Brown probably ever did; it made ME cry.
You won't regret purchasing it; it's funny, a little aggravating (for the advertising executive who has to put up with the well-meaning, but totally "clueless" young monk), and it is truly heartwarming. I recommend it enthusiastically.
